We are proud to share the recent installation of a special plaque behind the Mauao stone at the driving range — a meaningful acknowledgement of the relationship between Ngāi Tukairangi and Mount Maunganui Golf Club.

The stone itself was generously gifted from Mauao by the late Henry Kite and his son Tamai Henry, recognising the strong connection and partnership shared with Ngāi Tukairangi and our club. The newly installed plaque helps tell the story behind this special taonga and the significance it holds within our club grounds.

It is a wonderful reminder of the relationships and shared respect that continue to shape Mount Maunganui Golf Club today.
