Club and Golf Course ClosedYellow Golf Clubs icon

Advice has now come through from NZ Golf that when we go to level four status in the fight against Corona Virus, that Golf Clubs can not operate in any capacity.

This means that we can not allow people to access the Golf Course during this time (even by themselves). The Club has made the decision to close the course tonight (24 March). No further access to the course will be available. No exceptions.

We advised the other day that members needed to collect their clubs from the trundler storage. This was in preparation if golfers were still allowed to play during the shut down. Now that Golf cannot be played, this is no longer a necessity for you to do this unless you want to.

This is tough times for all and we wish members and their families a safe next few weeks.

We are still gathering information from NZ Golf and the government around the basic maintenance of the course, with the likelihood that limited green keeping activity will be able to take place that will ensure when we return, our course will still be in great condition.

We will stay in touch with members when there is additional information to share. In particular when we are getting close to a reopening.

Stay safe everyone.

Regards
