Canadian Foursomes Pairs Competition.
18 pairs were greeted to a fine cool day following a very wet and windy Saturday and a course in really good condition.
Great to see an enthusiastic field contest the Steele Cup, that included two time winners (Sandra Winhoven & Shane Ward) all entering the challenge with great gusto.
Scoring ranged from very good to ho hum, but a really close contest developed for the first round lead.
Rosie and Peter Buckland playing very good pairs golf returned a 67 net, followed by Helen and Roman Tomson with 68 and hot on their heels were Melanie and David Cho -68.5 and Yoshie & Massahide Kanno on 69.5.
The pace has been set leading to round 2 to be held on Sunday 5th July 2015.
