Interclub Events Update

Due to issues with the golf programmes of our interclub Golf Club partners.

The following changes have been negotiated for Interclub visits:

Changes that have been confirmed are as follows;

1          Riverside Interclub                  @  Riverside  (Lochiel)  Hamilton

They have a problem with their programme on Sunday 16th August 2015.

New Riverside Interclub date is Sunday 23rd August 2015.

This interclub is one of the long standing events that have, in the past, attracted very good numbers from both clubs.

The Riverside Golf Club is the combined Lochiel & Narrows Golf Clubs, a result of the Waikato roading development, including the Hamilton “Ring Road” system.

Tee Off is usually around noon with morning tea provided.

Entry fee is to be confirmed (expected to be $10 pp) along with other arrangements.

The Interclub is open to individuals and pairs.

Please register your name on the Registration list displayed on the Clubhouse Notice Board to indicate your intention to play in the Interclub

2.         Remuera Interclub      -           @ Mount Maunganui .

Remuera Golf Club has encountered a problem with Sunday 23rd August 2015.

The Confirmed alternative date is Sunday 29th November 2015.

Another of our long standing and very popular Interclubs.

Renuera Golf Club is to visit Mount Maunganui this year to try to match the excellent team of 50+ who travelled to Remuera last year.

A Registration List will be available late October for you to register to play.

3.         Omanu  “Home & Away” Interclub.   @  Mount Maunganui.

Interclub between Omanu & Mount Maunganui Golf Club

            “Home Leg”:   At Mount Maunganui.

A suitable date for the Home Leg of the interclub is proving difficult to confirm.

It is proposed that Sunday 20th September 2015 be the Interclub Date.

Note:  This is the reserve day for the Club Championships that will take priority should the

            reserve day be required.

“Away Leg”     At Omanu Golf Club.

The Away Leg of the Interclub is Sunday 11th October 2015.            (Week of our Coring).

This Interclub was launched last year as a replacement to the Tri-Series (Tauranga – Omanu- Mount Maunganui) that has struggled over the past 2 years.

Mount Maunganui and Omanu are keen to continue and to develop this interaction and competition between our two clubs.
