Sunday Mixed Golf            RSA Salver Trophy.

The final round of the Club Sunday Mixed Golf Competition for the RSA Salver trophy saw a result that few people expected.

In a small field on 5 pairs the leading pair of Sandy Long and Jim Uden looked to be favourites.

Lurking in the shadows there were 2 other pairs Sharon & Neville Cockayne and Philippa McKnight & Eric Mc Pherson who still had to register their second counting score.

A 150 net in round 3 and a counting score by Jim Uden and Sandy Long has them as clubhouse leaders.

Along came the late runners registering 142  Philippa McKnight & Eric McPherson for a total of 290 to win the trophy and a 146 by Sharon & Neville Cockayne, their total 291 to finish as runners-up.
