The 2015 New Zealand Men's Foursomes and Grant Clements Memorial Golf Tournaments have been successfully held with the image and reputation of the Mount Maunganui Golf Course and club enhanced.

The condition and presentation of the course was again excellent and contributed to one of the most closely contested Grant Clement Tournaments. The tournament saw some awesome scoring of the Black tees, including a 63, a 65 and a number of 66's.

The handicaps of the competitors continued the trend of the past 7 years with a very strong field of scratch or better golfers attending. The tournament was supported by the attendance of a New Zealand Golf selector. it was also very pleasing to welcome the 14 players who had recently played in the Junior Kaimai Tournament.

The success of the two tournaments that the club enjoys requires a great level of support and service from our members - volunteers who are unpaid. I hereby acknowledge and compliment them for their efforts.
